I initially ordered the short lite version in accordance with the size chart and the on line images & was sure the sizing was correct. Upon arrival, the coat was very snug and would not accommodate any additional underclothing. Having gone through the exchange process and extra cost to return the coat, my exchange coat, a size larger arrived; I was extremely satisfied. The coat is fantastic, it looks great, feels great and extremely comfortable to wear. The extra size allows room when riding and I’m confident that I can wear a jumper underneath in cold weather. The short coat is fantastic but if you want room rather than snugnesses, go for a size larger and you will not be disappointed!
I already own a reincoat lite and a reincoat pro both in large. I thought that a short version would complete my needs in the waterproof clothing department. Both my coats are 'roomy' to say the least and I have been very happy wit them. Although I had read that some of the reviews had said that the short versions were a bit snug, but I used the measurements given in the sizing chart to check that it would fit and was confident that it would. I even ordered the men's version (as it was on sale) although there did not seem to be any difference in the measurements. When it arrived, I did not try it on for a couple of days as I was so sure that it would fit. Glad I did (it was the middle of a heatwave and therefore not much cause for a waterproof coat) - to say that it was snug was an understatement - I only had a thin blouse on, there would have been no hope of fitting a jumper underneath! Returning the jacket was not the simplest - I had to contact Reincoat so that they could provide me with an RMA number (?) and then I had to send it back and stump up the postage costs (£5.70 - tracked 24). A week later and my XXL jacket arrived - possibly a little too much the other way, but definitely room for a jumper underneath, and I prefer my jackets on the roomy side. If you don't mind snug - order your normal size. But the sizing for the short jackets definitely are not the same as those used for the long jackets. Haven't tested it out in the rain yet, but I am guessing (fingers crossed) that it will perform as my other reincoats do.
The quality, colour and arm length is fabulous (I am 5ft 6) but most importantly, the hood is deep enough to keep my hair dry! Lovely coat - bring on the rain!
Really pleased with my mac, take my dogs out twice a day in all weather, now I dont have to worry about getting wet, I am covered from head to toe,
Good quality good value coat, waterproof and windproof, adjustable and comfortable to wear.
Considering other excellent Reincoat products, these boots offer a poor fit and the sole does not appear to be fit for purpose. Ie not durable on hard surfaces. Probably suitable if on soft ground and grass.
I love the great design and the fact it is actually waterproof! Well tested in rain on its first wear.
Well made, great quality, since buying it, weather has changed, so haven’t worn it yet, but ready for when the rain returns
I already have a fleece lined winter reincoat for walking my dog in colder weather but it is too warm for spring/summer/autumn. I decided to go for a reincoat lite and am not disappointed! It’s lightweight, long enough to keep my legs dry and totally waterproof! In addition, a big bonus as far as I’m concerned, the coat itself dries so quickly once I’m home and it’s hung up! Therefore it’s ready to go again later in the day! So pleased I purchased this coat.
Wanted one of these for ages for walking the dogs in the summer rain. Such a fab coat which doesn't make you sweat inside it, which is a feeling that gives me the ick in every other jacket!
I have three raincoats so a big fan the long coat in the silver for winter so that’s why I thought id treat myself to a shorter one only thing I would have liked if it could be in a lighter weight material it’s still a bit heavy for summer
I regret I didn’t buy it earlier. It is amazing, exactcly what I needed as a dog walker ❤️
Been caught in rain a few times now and so far I have stayed dry. I like the arm length and the nice pocket lining . Could do with an inside pocket for the phone ....
True to size. Fits lovely and light to wear. Yet to fully test it out in rain, but so far so good!
I bought the Reincoat Lite as I had already fell I love with the winter version. I ordered when it was 33 degrees outside as I know what the British weather is like, and I’m glad I did. I’ve worn everyday since. As a dog walker the only downside is obviously having to walk in all weathers. So I’m glad I have this. The fit is more snug than my winter one. I’m a comfortable size 14 and purchased a medium. I feel a size bigger though would be too roomy. I can wear layers comfortably underneath. I love that you can pull in at the waist. Material is lovely, not too much over heating :) and delivery fast.
Terrible sizing. Coats returned on tracked royal mail. Return clearly received over6 weeks ago but not refund yeat and i am still owed money .
Love these coats for dog walking. I have the pro, lite and now the jacket. Returns process was so easy and helpful as had to exchange for bigger size. Really quick and easy. Would recommend these coats and have done

I’m really pleased with my Reincoat, it’s just what I was looking for. Great quality and I like the fact that it is adjustable
I have other reincoats but I find them too short or too long for other activities such as when I'm coaching or walking the dog. The waterproofing is excellent as we've come to expect from reincoat but this one is my personal ideal for when I'm not actually sat on a horse (although it's good for that too!).
It's warm waterproof and smart.
A lovely waterproof coat with warm fleecy lining, which goes all the way down the sleeves and into the hood.
